Does anyone load the 126 gr Lee TC semi wad cutter for 9mm. I am trying to get the best OAL I can for the bullet. the 1.150 listed in the manual would leave the lube groove exposed. I was trying to start with a 5.0 gr Unique to check the accuracy. The unique is taking up quite a bit of the case. Anyone have suggestions? Thanks.

I load a 130 gr LHP boolit over 4.4 gr of Unique. With this I am getting decent accuracy and the recoil and muzzle blast are tolerable even for my wife who is recoil shy.

I have a sizer die that was opened up some to .3575 and this works well even for my Browning which likes a fatter boolit.

This is a workable and economically feasable round of which I have several thousand assembled as they are easy with the Dillon 550B and they store well. I presently have 4 weapons which use the 9 MM round and although not the best in terminal ballistics I can shoot them well as can my spouse.

Bullet placement is more imprtant to me than the ballistics of the round.

I have wondered the same thing with that bullet...I have always just seated them as far out as will cycle in my pistols. Now that I'm starting to pan lube rather than Tumble, I need to get on quickload and figure out a reduced charge for the corresponding reduction in case capacity from seating deep to give a 100% charge density as before.

I use 1.056 - 1.058 for that bullet in my XD.

I use the rn instead of the tc design, and I use an OAL of 1.115". When I use Unique I load it with 4.0 grains. This combo functions fine in my gun.

I used 1.065 with that bullet, that puts the same amount of bullet in the case as the OAL listed for the Lyman 356402( don't have the book in front of me). The 356402 is the same weight and has the same amount of bearing surface, the cone on it is just longer and has a longer taper. 9MM oal's are all over the place because the bullets are different lengths and shapes.

Has anyone ever had seating depth consistancy with this bullet? I am not sure what the problem is. I have measured the bullets and they are the same. I am using the lee carbide die set. It looks as if the seating die is made for a round nose. Could this be the problem?
