Found the convienance of having Midsouth just around the corner. Went down there to pick up an order I had placed this morning. Ordered Lyman large handles and a box of 1000 Hornady gas checks.

Course, I just had to open the box of gas checks in the truck to show my daughter the shiny copper coins. They were in a zip lock bag so I just pulled em out. Big mistake. The bag was not "zipped". Dumped 300-400 gas checks out in the front seat. Got most of them cleaned up. Gonna be finding them in there for years to come.

Kids.............I've had similar things happen when showing my son reloading things. Try a tray of primers on the floor. You have to love their curiosity and explorative nature when they are young though.

Have always said that the only people who don't make mistakes are those who never do anything!

I had visions of a couple boxes of 44's and a couple boxes of 45's mixed together.

I have spilled half a bag of 7 1/2's, thankfully it was on linoleum.

I could not imagine trying to clean up the birdshot.

Got a good laugh out of myself, would have liked to have seen my expression in a mirror.

I have unthinkingly tipped back a tall bottle of 8 shot on a MEC reloader. The force of the shot pops the plug out of the bottle. 8 shot does not vacuum out of sculptured carpet in a basement rec room. As you try to pick it out one at a time you simply spread the fibers and it goes in deeper. My wife was not impressed. The fact that reloading is recereation and should be allowed in a rec room has no bearing. Now .22 rimfires on the other hand do vacuum out of sculptured carpet. At least far enough to hit the beater bar/brush on the vacuum cleaner and go off. My wife is even less impressed with that fact. Now about the bottle of Hoppes.....
