The wife and I are replenishing our stores and looking for a Winchester .22 kinda like the one Remington made in the "80's". The 521 Deluxe I think they called it.
I found some old military relics on Gunbroker but they look pretty beat.
Again I'm looking at Winchester Boltgun only.
TIA,
Duke

The only one I know of is the Wildcat and that is a bolt gun. There is a company that makes a gun that is exactly like the wildcat. It is called the Tula TOZ It is a super light gun and is looks cheap, but it is a pretty reliable gun, you can get them for like 100$

Not real sure, but other than the model 52, I think Winchester quit making all of their quality bolt guns in 1964. They did make some lower priced rifles during or into the early 1970's. I think the model numbers were 310, 320 series; I don't recall ever actually seeing one of them.

They made a 190 and a 290 in the 60's. These were autoloaders with an aluminum receiver. I had a 290, and traded it off years ago. I wish I still had it. It was accurate, economically priced, and very reliable. I'm left-handed, though and the little pushbutton safety was for a righty, so I opted to get another 22. In the same series were a hammerless levergun (the trigger and all dropped when the lever came down) and a pump. I don't recall the model numbers of the pump or lever, but they were in that 100 and 200 series. The 190's were plain wood, and the 290's were a bit "fancier" with impressed checkering. I think those 310 and 320 series of 22's were imported from Canada. I remember seeing them in the catalog, but never did pick one up.

Same rifle still made in Russia ,Just the wildcat is imported under the Winchester name. Very accurate rifle for the price.

Take a close look at the CZ 452, a nice clip fed bolt gun comes in both a heavy and light barrel, the latter being the most accurate and with the right ammo will shoot dime sized or smaller groups @50 from a rest and scoped.

The 310 and 320 series were made in Australia and imported by Winchester. They became the basis for the first Kimber 22 caliber rifles.

.............Winchester M69's and M72's for mid priced rifles were very good bolt actions, but not being a student of them I don't know the various series numbers. They also made a fairly capable entry level target rifle (M75) you may still find around.
