View Full Version : Nice slick Kentucky pistols.

Anybody know if someone has continued with the Kentucky flint pistol like Bill Kennedy used to sale as a parts set? I know Chris Altland sells a couple models but not the Kentucky. What I want seems to be a thing of the past especially with the swamped octagon radius groove barrel. I would like to have one built if anyone has any ideas.

When you get into different configurations in barrels your best bet is to look at kits as sold by Track of the Wolf or for pistols Muzzle Loaders Builders Supply. MBS has the best source of the two for pistol kits and barrels.

Naw they don't have anything like I'm lookin for. They just show straight barrels like all the others. Unless they have something new that I missed. Don Getz makes the only swamped pistol barrels I know of and they are square cut at that.

Muzzleloading builders has octagon to round swamped pistol barrels.

Looking for octagon all the way. I see Ed Rayal makes some also. Just kicking myself for not getting a Kennedy parts set years ago. Just can't figgure who made the radius groove pistol barrels.

I visit them almost daily to look at used guns. There are no swamped pistols advertised at TOW.

I have been talking with Chris Altland and he may be able to supply what I want. I will check Blackhart again as it's been a little while.

try www.logcabinshop.com i know they sell pennsylvania sytle rifle kits with swamped barrels , not sure about pistols though

Just the run of the mill pistols at log cabin also.
