Team.

I got my 225462 back from Erik at www.hollowpointmold.com and he did a fine job.

From the time I posted from the bottom of the world until the time it came back was about 3 weeks and there is a week in each direction in the post so pretty happy. Today I cast up some bullets. Can't wait to try them in my .223 and see the results.

I also have a very old Lyman 31133 on loan and ran up some bullets in that at the same time for my .32-20 and small game .303 Brit loads.

The 225462 likes the WW alloy HOT. I usually run at 700F tops. Today I had to go over 800F to get complete fill out. Slow work by ain't they purty?

Well Jeff, they sure are purty, I reckon they will go boom splat! You will be surprised how much better they will kill rabbits and hares. I have a 3 cavity cbe 225 42gc that has the middle cavity done by Hugh and it has a fairly small pin. But the difference is very noticeable.
hope it goes well for you.
Cheers Euan.

I have a 225462 single cavity that I had Buckshot HP for me. I think the pin is a bit slimmer than yours, but it shoots better than my standard one in my 222. I don't know about rabbits and hares, but it will take out a crow with brutal efficiency. Nice casting, I really like 22 HP's!

Yours is definately a bigger HP. This is the one Buckshot did for me, I could go deeper though as the pin is adjustable-
