It was a great day after work. Cindy and I went out to my brothers farm and shot up 150 rounds of various loads I made. 125 HP, 148 WC and 158 SWC. When it was all said and done, there was just a very small streak of lead in the barrel. It cleaned right out. I owe you guys a bunch! I was beginning to wonder about why my cast boolits didn't work. Big sigh of relief.

Agree with you CTT. This site is an invaluable tool for new (and old) bullet casters to get together and learn from each other.

Good deal, Charlie.

Now you need to find out which of the loads was the cause of the leading. Aren't these projects fun?

There is NO doubt that I am hooked. It's kind of like home made bread versus store bought. Home made is always better.

I'm actually going to try my first loads this weekend if I can get a few minutes. They are also 158 gr SWC's. I can't wait to see how they work!

Dang nice crappie in that picture. All battered up with some cornbread. Make a good meal. Let us know how your first loads go.
