My local club notified us of this development a couple of weeks ago. I emailed both the EPA official and my senators requesting opposition to this.

you can bet you arss that there's some politic. looking to buy in on the copper foundry/ industry. those folks are not stupid. they have always got an angle. but i don't think it will happen for a while, but i feel it's coming. oh' and i guess that will effect law enfor., military, and pretty much everyone toat'n firearms not just hunters. talk about stirring up some stink!!

They tested the concept in California, using the Condor as the 'victim'. We all know which way that went.

Now, they are using the eagle (all birds of prey, actually) to try to do it nationwide.

Get on your Congressmen, and stay on them...
They are the 'lawmakers', and they made the law which says the EPA doesn't have regulatory power over ammunition. Make them stick to that.

I suggest that EVERYONE respond against both the ammo ban (apparently no longer considered) AND the fishing sinker ban. If we stop them there, we won't have to work so hard on ammo the next time.

This proposed probition of everything lead is just another way to get around the Second Amendment (protestations to the contrary).
