What to do if it were me.....

Several rimfires, couple of 12 gauge shotguns, 3 black powder rifles, .44 cap and ball revolver, milsurp bolt action 8x57, 1911 govt issue type .45ACP.

Terrific shape Norinco SKS and fair shape .45 ACP Thompson model 27 clone (semi-auto). One of these two needs to go......
Which one goes and which one stays?

Which one is the least fun to shoot, and shoot well? That's the one that goes.

Hunting season is coming up. I'd guess one or two of the BP rifles would go if they are .50 or bigger. Keep the nicest or most accurate for yourself, sell the others. Ditto the .22's if there is a market for your particular brands. I'd want to keep one long and one short .22.

How are you fixed for ammo between the two? You won't get your money back from loaded ammo. I can live without an SKS but would miss a 45.

Bob,
I'm not an AK fan, so keep that Thompson. And it's even a 45ACP. Beat that. enjoy Mike

Why does one need to go?

If it's a money thing I think the SKS would sell faster.

If it's SWMBO thing..... replace SWMBO!

My thoughts exactly. If you need money start collecting cans by the side of the road. You might even find an occasional wheelweight...Ray

if you decide you want to get rid of the black powder stuff i'd be interested in the .44 pistol and maybe a rifle depending on style and cal

Bob, the heck of it is, with the economy, I don't think it is the best time to sell for top dollar unless you really need to.
