I am thinking of buying a Uberti 73 and want to shoot this bullet using 38 special brass. Can you seat the bullet to the crimping groove and get reliable feeding or am i going to have to seat it longer? Hopefully some Uberti 73 owners can chime in.
In my Marlin I have to seat it with the full crimping grove exposed with COL of 1.45 to get decent feeding. Seated with the case mouth crimped into the grove has a COL of 1.30 and hangs up in my marlin
