Sizing Question

Is sizing necessary? I've been shooting cast through my 1911's without sizing. Is there a danger of overpressure?

If the loaded cartridges are chambering without problems and you are satisfied then there is no problem nor any danger of over pressure if you are shooting standard loads.

a rule of thimb for cast is every .001 over sized is approx.350 psi in pressure till you get to about .003-4 then it starts to rise much faster.
