im sending back a rcbs .35-200-fn due to not being able to get the boolit to drop free without prying.

any advice on how to make this a painless process?

I would be inclined to contact them first and get some sort of written preapproval etc.

I agree..Just give them a heads up..I doubt you'll have a problem with RCBS they are usually pretty good with warranty returns. How long have you had it and how much have you used it?

Tried 'Leementing' it yet? Not sure if it would work on your mold, but made a heck of a difference with my aluminum Lee.

RCBS is great with their customer service.............I would call them first and then send it out after speaking with someone.

RCBS PH#: 1-800-533-5000

cast a couple, roll them in fine valve grinding compound very lighty lap the cavitys, then check for burrs at the parting line. They will fall out after that.

i already emailed them. i still have to call and talk to them, which i will do tomorrow.

just trying to find if anybody has had probs with any part of the process.

im not going to attempt to "fix" it, or id probably ruin it anyways.

i would NOT mess with it! call rcbs, then send it back. if you are lucky, they might even send you a call tag, and you will not have to pay for shipping.

Yes...do call them first. They will give you the correct address to the customer service return shop and a tracking number which you use when contacting them for the item you returned. If I remember correctly RCBS's return policy specifically says to contact first. It makes the return to you a lot faster.
