How many brass in a pound of 9mm? Looking for Average. Or can anyone direct me to a site that gives the average for all cases? Thanks

take a case and weigh the thing on your scale then divide that into 7000....

I happen to have a fired R.P. 9mm on my desk, It weights 56 grains with the spent primer.
7000 / 56 = 125 fired R.P 9mm case to the pound.

9mm brass is between 56-60 grains per piece depending on headstamp. Weight includes spent primer.
I use 60gr per unit for an average of about 8.5-8.6 pounds per 1,000 pieces.
Back when I sold brass, I'd go by weight, then toss in two handfuls to make sure the count was right.
