I've had 3 misfires out of 80 rounds of Wolf 124 gr HP ammo fired through my new Yugo SKS. The primers were well indented. Got to be the ammo, huh?

I would say so Junior, as the Yugo SKS has pretty hard hitting firing pin.

Depends, did you strip and degrease the bolt. I have had these with so much grese in them they wouldn't fire, or in cold weather they go full auto.

Check the bolt for grease like what was said above. Wolf does have some QC problems though, there have been some batches with alot of duds but that was a few years ago. Wolf will replace the ammo if you thinks its bad just call them.

Now full auto if expected sounds fun (barring any federal involvment) but to pull
the trigger once looking for one bang and get thththhththp could cause one to
seek a change of drawers!

Wolf did have alot of problems, one was the coating they put on the steel cases to keep them from corroding, it would melt off from heat of firing and friction and gum up the firing pin and extractor and even glue the case to the chamber. They've since changed that.

If his misfired have a really deep dent in them it doesn't sound like grease.
