I got a hot plate and 1 qt Stainless steel pan and tried again with much better results after reading from members the right ways on how to do it.I knew it could be done after seeing how well Babore ladle cast his boolits.Didn't need any tin, just WW.These boolits shoot very well in my Marlin 45-70 XLR also going into a ragged hole at 60 yards using 48 grains H-322.The rcbs pro-melter will be resting for a while while I try the ladle on some other molds.

Very nice indeed! Nice crisp lines on those boolits.

I had problems with my Lee drip-o-matic getting the temp right for large boolits, and fill out. Converted it too laddle pour only and have been happy ever since. Best boolits I ever cast. Everything from 105gr 38 up to 1oz shotgun slug.

45r those are fine looking boolits.
