2010 National Trophy Matches

Is anybody going to the National Trophy Matches at Camp Perry? This will be my first time, something I have wanted to do for many years. I'm doing it now because some day never comes. It should be a lot of fun. I will be shooting the M16 Match, the President's Match, the National Trophy Match, and the M1 Garand Match. My son and I will shoot together in the Hearst Doubles, two-man team match. I'll register our team as the 'Louisiana Tar Balls'.

Maybe next year I will put together something like a Lee-Enfield with cast bullets for the Vintage Rifle Match. 303 paper-patched bullets should work for a 200 yd match. What do you think?

Carbine, Springfield and vintage. I can't shoot the JCG this year due to a wedding.

I will be there July 30 through August 8. I will shoot the M1 match if I get on a morning relay and will head home afterwards.

I went back to Perry in '05. Thought I better go before I got too old. Waited too long. Shot the sorriest score of my entire life. Sic Transit Gloria...

SAFS-rifle, M16 & President's match, then Garand, Springfield, Vintage Military, M1A, and (hopefully) all of NRA week. I've already shot the .22 Sporter match last weekend.
