good morning:coffeecom,
i have a question about casting for a carcano in 6.5 (i have'nt shot it in years),
i already cast for 45.70 trapdoor and a few mausers so i thought while my lead is ready to go why not cast some 6.5's ,but my italian slugs at 267 not 264 so where can i get a mold that will cast a 268 pill that is long enough for the rifle and won,t cost me more than the gun is worth ?
it,ll be a plinking rifle for my grandson when he gets big enough to handle it.

Look under the Vendors thread for BRP molds, I just received a 140 grain 268 dia mold that is a thing of beauty.

................Forgiveness is always easier to get then permission. Besides, it's for the grandson right? Just get the dang thing and enjoy the 2-3 day stay in the garage :kidding: Besides while you're in there you can cast, lube and load'em up. That's the way I operate and I've been married 35 years and she ain't left me yet. I DO spend most my time in the shop anyway, as I've learned it's best to maintain a low profile when she's home.

Have you considered the Lee Cruise Missile? Price is certainly right, mine casts WW at .271", others report .270".

I bought a 270 mould for my rather large Arisaka. That's another option, you can always size down.
