Having a problem with 6 cavity sprue plate handle

I've been reading this forum for a while and have gotten a lot of good information here. I didn't register until today because I didn't feel I had anything to contribute. Today I finally registered because I have a question. :smile:

I used a Lee 6 Cavity mold for the first time yesterday evening and all in all it went well. However I did have one problem. The Handle on the Sprue Plate kept coming off and after a while it cracked. I ordered a couple replacement handles from Lee but I'd like to avoid having this happen again.

Has anyone else had this problem and were you able to find a solution to it.

Looks like that should do the trick.
