Just got the 6 cav 22 cal. Ranch Dog mold in the mail today! Sure is pruddy, and will try to cast with it tommrow. One casting session with this mold will keep my 22 cals in fodder for quite a while. Got the 165 30 cal a few weeks back, and it casts beautifully! Tried a few without GC's and mule snot as cast .312 in 7.62x54R over about 12 gr. of Trailboss. Shot great at 50, no leading, little recoil. Now to check a few and run them out of some of my other 30's. Have a number of Ranch Dog Molds, and can say nothing about them that is not absolutly positive. Lot of bang for the buck!

Ranch Dog is making .22 molds? I didn't know that he was back in business. There are several of his molds that I would like to get.

Yeah I just got a 339 200gr mold a few weeks ago. Fast and the Lee quality issue has improved it seems.

Thanks for the info. When the molds that I want pop up, I'll try to jump on them.

First time out with RD 50 in K-Hor over 8 gr. of 2400 (forgot to use sp primers, and had sr primers) regardless: stayed under 2" at 100, in my little #3 Ruger. Now to start tweeking! Hope to do a number or two on p-dogs within 150 yds in Col. in Sept with what ever combination I come up with.

1Shirt,

Just catching up around here, spring and summer is hectic on the ranch. Ranch Dog Molds is going to open full time on the web around November 1. I finally had a nice building erected on the ranch that will serve as work space and warehouse, molds and kits take quite a bit of room. Between now and then I will be very busy programing a new web site that will help me on several fronts, mainly accounting. My initial line up will be really strong and I plan on slowly adding my entire lineup including my self defense semi-auto pistol bullet designs. Here is what I will initially offer with the appropriate L&S Kits:

TLC225-50-RF
TLC258-80-RF
TLC311-165-RF
TLC313-115-RF
TLC359-190-RF
TLC379-235-RF
TLC432-265-RF
TLC432-300-RF
TLC432-350-RF
TLC460-350-RF
TLC460-425-RF

I will only be offering 6-cavity molds but like before these special order designs will be at a very fair price. I had been communicating with Mr. Lee as LP had expressed in interest in cataloging a number of my more popular designs. The bottom-line is that I think this is a business that I would rather expand and Lee is giving me that support.

About the TLC225-50-RF. I have a buyer out there that is filling crop damage permits with a .223 and he says that this bullet is knocking the whitetails in the dirt!

Michael,

Good to see you around and great to hear you're expanding your business. I'm making me up a wish list as I speak.

Have you put in a grass strip/runway at your ranch yet? :)

No, not yet! Of course, that would only mean more grass to mow!

All is good with the Dog thankfully after a bunch of grief, and hope that come Nov. he is up and running with great gusto. That said, know the concept is for Marlin levers, but sure do wish he would do a heavier 375/379 blt in about 275-280gr or heavier. My H&H's love the little 235, and make for good practice prior to shoulder busting full charges.
