I have looked and can't find any data for the Lyman 115 gr. GC bullet for the 7.62x39. I am using it in a Mini MK X bolt action. I used the 'Search' feature but only found data for the heavier bullets, 155 gr, 185 gr. etc. Thanks for any info.

My CZ 527's favorite plinker/small game load is Lyman 311156 and 7 grains of Unique.

Lyman 49th manual has data.
Rx 7 yields highest velocity. 4198 , AA2230 , H-335 are also fast.

I use the Lyman 311316 and cast them out of WWs + 2% tin. I size and lube at .312 and use Hornady GCs. Cases are R-P with WSR Primers, Ns'd for my Mini MK X Bolt action. I have a 4x scope on the rifle. I use 9 gr of Unique for 1670 fps with excellent accuracy. The problem I have with this rifle/load is the wife thinks it's hers so I get to load the ammo and clean the rifle..........

The 7 gr Unique load mentioned by JDL isn't to shabby either but only runs 1370 fps with 311316.

In my 30 Herrett, I shoot a commercial-cast 120 RN plainbase with six grains of any fast powder like B'Eye, Clays, RedDot or old Alcan 120 for a nice plinker load.

That's a different cartridge, different bullet and a different velocity level than you wanted - but other than that, ought to be really helpful, LOL!
