Hello gentlemen,

I have been introduced to this place at marlinowners.com forum. Visited a few times and finally bought a 6 cavity Ranch Dog mold .432 caliber from one of the members after finally recieving the 3rd and corrected version by Lee. I will be using it mainly for my Marlin 1894 rifle in 44 caliber.
I am in need of load data for this bullet.

I use plain Wheel weights water cooled.
No gas checks
BlueDot powder.

Thank you all very much for helping.

Cheers,
Mad

Hornady lists a load for the 44 Mag and Blue Dot with their 265-grain FP bullet and this might be a good starting point. The data I have shows a max charge of 13.2-grains producting 1200 FPS. The starting load is 11.8 at 1100 FPS. I would try that and see what it does.

I will start with these numbers.

Hi Albert, and welcome to the forum:-D Im using surplus WC820(n) (using AA#9 data) with this bullet and getting good results out of it. Im using 17.0 grains WC820(n) with an average velocity of 1470 out of the 20" barrel, E.S. of 24, S.D. of 6 so its a good consistant load and I'm getting good accuracy with it.

Now I'm using a check with this load but have tried the same load without a check and getting Zero leading at the chamber in my Rossi 92 but had some leading last 2-3 incheses of the muzzle. Maybe I just didnt have enough Lee liquid earwax on it without the check? Heres a link with picts of the groups(with check) I'm getting if interested....Steve. Again WELCOME[smilie=s:
