I got an email the other day from Midsouth Shooters Supply advising me they have the special order 6.5 Swede mould in stock. I placed my order and it came in today.

I haven't used it yet, but it's advertised to cast a 170 grain boolit. Sure hope it does better than my RCBS-140-FN.

I got mine yesterday and I happend to be casting when it came... so naturaly I made a few.... I think the trick is going to be cast hot! the temp I was using didnt fill it out all the way. but it is a cool looking bullet :)

That's what I have found out with most of my Lee moulds. I cast them hot and when they start frosting up, I touch the mould to a damp cloth for a second.
Can't wait to load up a few.

I had the best luck with that mold by "pressure pouring" using a Lee bottom pour pot. I put the sprue plate to the nipple and opened the handle. I held the handle open for a second or two and the bullets came out looking great with everything filled out.
