I had an alert from someone on the CB-L list that Natches was having a special on CCI primers for as little as $3.00 per thousand! Man, I was shoveling primers into my shopping cart by the 5,000! I was still trying to be too cheap though; I was trying to stay under 20 pounds total to avoid a second haz mat charge! Imagine how cheap I am! :) Well, I had about 20,000 assorted in my basket when I noticed that my total charge was changing moment by moment... they must have caught the error! RATS! Oh well, I woudn't have gotten out the door with them anyway; they always send a verification email on anything with a haz mat charge and don't ship unless you respond. Sure was a nice feeling for a few minutes though! I think someone posted the amount they were suppose to REDUCE the price by as the actual price! Still, I have to wonder if anyone actually got to buy any at that price!

Dang that'd been a real deal....:)
A few years back I was playin' with a .357 Herret Contender n Bob Milek was reportin' some amassin' results for the RCBS 210 FNGC over a stiff charge a WW296 usin' Federal 215 primers...not havin' any a that particular variety I remembered our ALCO's dept. store had em in thier sportin' goods...ran inta town ta buy a couple boxes fer tests n saw they had a sticker price on the brick's of 1000 of $1.50....knowin' that was the per 100 price I took em up ta the register n told the Gal runnin' it they were mismarked....she said it didn't matter that they hadta sell em at the price marked....wish I'd grabbed the whole shelf of em... out the door that 1000 215's was $1.56...[smilie=l:

A good friend of mine stopped over one day and gave me a few boxes of 12 gauge shells. Not like him to be giving stuff away, so I asked what was up. Seems he had stopped by the local K Mart to buy a couple of boxes to shoot up that weekend. Just like DOUBLEJK's case, the shells were marked way low. My friend being a decent fellow calls the sporting goods guy over and points out the error. For his efforts he was berated. The SG guy told him he marked those shells himself and blah, blah, blah. My bud told him to go in the back and bring him everything they had...

I got them ordered in the middle of the night. Every time I clicked on the final checkout an error page would come up with a statement that a mail was sent to costomer support. I tried many times and got nowhere. Nobody from customer support contacted me either. I didn't realise it was a glitch as some were marked down a few bucks and some ridiculus amounts. I figured they were expiring or it was an overstock deal. When the prices started changing in front of my eyes I knew something was up. Even my shopping cart was emptied. Jay
