Better not buy the red ones.......in a moment of mass confusion, when you need your boolit the most, you don't want to be chambering your wife's lipstick!:bigsmyl2:

Why not just use Brownell's teflon gun finish heat bullets spray on bake 350f for 30 min

Polymer coating (powder coat?) should work.

Look at the old Barnes blue bullets, paint-like solid lube to keep from 'coppering' the bores and
raising pressures.

FYI, not an option for some. S.C. SECTION 16-23-520 (http://www.scstatehouse.gov/code/t16c023.htm#16-23-520)
Use, transportation, manufacture, possession, purchase, or sale of teflon-coated ammunition.

It is unlawful for a person to use, transport, manufacture, possess, distribute, sell, or buy any ammunition or shells that are coated with polytetrafluoroethylene (teflon).

A person who violates the provisions of this section is guilty of a felony and, upon conviction, must be imprisoned not more than five years or fined not more than five thousand dollars, or both.

Which is funny as the Teflon had nothing to do with getting thru a vest it was to help keep from wearing on the bore

I wonder if that is why we're not seeing painted bullets in the US, whereas they seem quite popular/common in other countries.
