I was a member at the old shooters.com until it went belly up and I followed the group here. Now I just come here every so often to see what everyone has been up to. But now I have a question so post so I finally got off my butt & registered.
I've been casting for about 5 years. My main reason for casting is to have a supply of cheap revolver/pistol boolits for PPC & IDPA shooting. I also shoot bowling pins with a .22 in a league. I will probably start casting 8mm rifle boolits when I finish sporterizing (butchering?) my $50 Turk Mauser. I'll also admit to being cheap enough to cast my own buckshot with a Lee single cavity round ball mould someone gave me.
I guess I'll post my question later because my granddaughter is demanding some of "Goompa's" time!
