You don't indicate what velocity you are looking for and that makes it a bit vague. I'm guessing you want smokeless data??

I have data for Unique, 2400, SR-4795, 4227, 4198, 3031 and Goex Cartridge Grade. If you could be a bit more specific, I'm sure I have something in the area you are looking.

What rifle? There are 3 levels of 45-70 loads (perhaps a 4th) and they depend on the strength of the rifle actions.

Mag, I only shoot the 45-70 using Black, but 490 grainers work for me out to 600yds...

BR2 of 215M Primer
Newspaper wad over primer hole
66gr Swiss 1.5
Felt wad - 1/16"
Bullet cast at 1:20 ... using the Lee 500-3R's that drop at 493-495gr for this recipe
Homemade soy wax lube
Seated with neck tension only - no crimp
OAL - nose in the leade

The Sharps replica's like the Lyman 457123 Postell using both BP and smokeless. The Lyman recipe for 3031 works best - 36 to 41grs. For long range, keep the charge on the low end (36-38)
