Gents - I hope this is applicable to this Forum, but I lost a very good friend in the early morning of Friday. He was a good friend for 10+ years and a good co-worker. He has a a great family and they were always first for him, job came second. He was a bit of a gun guy, but was not a member here that I'm aware of. We've lost others in line of duty deaths, but this one hurts alot, as we just spent time together a few weeks ago during a big trial, that wound up with a life conviction of the murder suspect, a good bit of it due to his expert testimoney as a Ballistician. This article doesn't touch on it, but he was a Trooper assigned to the road for 10 years or so, became a Crime scene Ballistics expert over the next 15 years and about 3 years ago, went back to uniformed patrol. Not sure if you'll be able to connect to the comments on the article, but some are unconscionable - My heart felt prayers go out to his wife Judy and their boys - Thanks for your time Bill L
