bigbear, if your asking about #3, it's been around since early '80. If your asking about #4, it's coming soon, supposedly :rolleyes:. If your asking about the little orange cover book that sell for about $1.95, I would say it's good to have. Don't know how long it's been available...Ray

I would say pick one up at the right price. Look for some old Lyman Manuals on the cheap too. I just picked up another #45 for a bud. They are full of good casting information.

Just checked with Mid-South on my back order for the new manual. Been back ordered nearly 2 months, may get some in late July or early August!Robert

Lyman cast bullet loading manuals are great. Any issue. Lots of tips and references as well as good cast bullet loading data.

I think the guide is the free-bee they give with a lube-sizer or lead pot. If so it is an orange pamphlet listing what Lyman has for sale in the cast area. It used to be $2 by itself and IMO wasn't worth that in the early days of on-line catalogs.

I don't think the pamphlet that you mentioned is the same one that has been talked about. I have a copy of the 3rd edition and I think that it is a wonderful reasource, definately worth the money.

I've got one of the small 5 x 8 ones around here some place but also have the newst one, a must buy for anybody casting IMHO!

The pic answered my question, I have 3rd edition in the swamp somewhere,just have to find it, now to get 4th edition. Thanks alot!
