Howdy all,

From light to 24 ingots was an hour and a little less than a half, 6" X 2" angle iron ingots. 6 molds sure beats 2.:drinks:[smilie=w: BTW, I was using a 6 qt Dutch oven, looking at a 16 qt, and a Bayou Classic Cooker.

Those ingots must weigh right around 3 pounds??

Do enough of that and you'll real strong wrists!

I made four ingot molds, 4 ingots apiece, but used 1 1/2 angle. ingots weigh about 2 pounds each an my lead pot will make 32 ingots with each fill.

A couple buckets of WW make me one tired puppy!

So I will suggest pacing yourself if you get a bigger dutch oven!

Sounds like since this months theme on the cast pic's forum is your lead stash, somebody needs to post a pic over there and show off a little bit.

Here is a small score of pure lead. Stumbled across a rolled up sheet of flashing lead and when I asked was given it free - almost 150lbs!

Whoo - whoo!
