Along the 9.3 line of thinking...
Does anyone make or have a mold that tosses a 193 grain boolit? I jest bought a twin tubed rifle that's old. Black powder proofed and I'll be needing to feed it soon.
Since it's still in transit I can't guess the size of the pipes or even the caliber. (Guessing 9.3X72R) I will have to cast the chamber and slug it after it gets here.
I'm just trying to get my homework done ahead of time

AkMike: Buffalo arms is still showing Rapine .366 2c moulds @195 and 200 grs. in stock on their website. Both appear to be plainbase, but the truly talented could change that.. these are listed under"Custom moulds" and ,if the rumors are correct on Rapine's closing shop, one might do well to spring into action. The prices aren't outrageous ,either.. Good luck, Onceabull:)

Hmmm I didn't see those. I saw the copper slugs but I don't want to use those.
Thanks!

Any thoughts about taking some 200 grn 357 sizes boolits and getting one of those 'bumping up dies' to swell them up to what it'll need? I've got a big hammer to smack them with! :)

I have successfully paper-patched Lyman #358430 (195 grain RN) for my 9.3 x 62 bolt gun. 2 wraps of 9# bond fattened that .358" boolit to .367".

AkMike: Or perhaps paperpatch those .358 boolits up to whatever works. I lack both tactile skills and patience to PP,but some do,and have the XXXX to market their product..should have put this next in earlier post but you might try Wayne Doudna's(LTD custom cast bullets. He is offering 225 gr FN Gas check size .365 boolit ,but has been known to sell unsized on request...I've not personally seen/held/used his boolits, but have seen numerous favorable comments...fwiw, Onceabull:)
