Scored some lead

With everything going up I took a side trip to the local used metals emporium today. Checked out the big 4'x4' box where they keep the lead. Got 300lbs at 7 cents a pound. Nope thats not a typo. Looked to be from either a water tank or roof. Strips about 1' wide and folded up and about 1/8" thick. My back remembers each and everyone that made it back into my isuzu rodeo. Gonna go back and get some more in the am. Nice clean stuff except a little black stuff on one side. Probably some light coating of tar. But well worth the effort. Frank

It's great to get lead where ya can for sure . I've got a pretty good stash , but little brother still brings home little scraps for me from time to time :-D
