I want to change out the trigger in my feaux NRA Sporter.. Anybody have an comments on the Dayton Traister vs. the Huber trigger. I am familiar with the Timmy but not the others. Well, I know how they work, but I have never messed with either.

Comments and advise?

I have a couple of Mausers with the Dayton-Traister triggers. My gunsmith doesn't like them. Seems like, if you push the trigger foreward from behind, the gun will shoot. it's not like one would do that intentionally, but say if a twig or branch got caught behind the trigger. Just his thoughts on the matter. other than that, they seem to work OK as I haven't had any problems with mine. However, based on his thoughts, any new triggers will be Timneys.
