I just picked up a Lyman 429640 mould and cast some bullets this evening. Using a fairly rich mixture of linotype and wheelweights they cast out at 281 grains with the gas checks installed. Anyone here have experience with these in either a 444 Marlin (the Winchester 94 version) or in a 44 magnum rifle? I sized them to .432 using a Lee sizer and they came out quite nice. Pictured below are the first two bullets out of the mould.
