I want to load my 9mm boolits which are 124 gr truncated cone. Lee 90402 six banger. I'm using Richard Lee's Modern Reloading charts and it calls for a start of 5.3 Unique. I'm using Uniquersky (Salut). When I drop only 5.0 grains of powder I will have to compress the powder in order to seat the bullet for a minimum oal of 1.150. 9mm Ruger brass. I'm using the 125 grain chart since I don't have a 124 chart. I hope there's a simple solution.
I'm a little goosey about loading any of them till I get some good info.
Thanks
Dux

More info on 9mm. I'm casting tumble lube boolits hoping to be able to skip sizing.

TL in 9mm is likely to fail. Good luck, may work if large enough.

The difference between 124 and 125 is totally negligable! Your magazine length and your
chamber/throat are what sets your LOA not some book value. Using a milsurp non-cannister
powder in a case with tiny volume like the 9 para is not surprising to find a fit issue. If it
won't fit, use less or use a different powder.

See the thread directly above this one.

I still have my Alox that came with my sizeing dies. I have never gotten it to work for me.
I pan lube.
No leading issues.

I use that mold (2 banger). Boolit tumble lubed with alox thinned with mineral spirits, 4.9 grs of Bullseye. Accurate with no leading.
