I Would Like A 230 Gr Rn Bb Like Magma. Has Any One Thought About A Group Buy With Lee For A Bullet Like That? It Would Be There 200 Gr Bb Bottom With There 230 Gr Rn Nose. Rn For Action Shooting With Good Feeding And The Sholder To Make A Nice Hole In The Target. Also I See If You Order 100 Moulds There Is No Set Up Fee And You Get Dealers Price. The Custom Mould $50.00 Is Now $34.00 . Or Is That The Handling Fee For Who Ever Takes On This Job? If This Is A Doable Mould I Would Take 2.

I have the Magma 230 gr. RNBB. It got improved quite a bit by removing the bevel turning it into a plain base. Accuracy improved a lot, but it does not beat the boolit shown in: http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?t=7084&page=2

I don't Honcho Group Buys at ANY time, I draw boolits when interested or requested. Someone will have to step up and Honcho this if they want one. It would be a very Good idea to wait awhile until things cool down some though.

45 2.1 i see rcbs and seaco both have a rn 45acp with a sholder flat base. do you think the lyman desine with no sholder is better than having a sholder? the sholser lets it cut a better hole in the target. what do you think about eather the rcbs or saeco with a sq lube grove? also is any one else looking for something like this bullet? sou said lit it cool down did you mean the weather? it is not bad here in sw florida. the snow birds all left went up north where it is hot. if this is a doable bould, by the time we get them it will be sept or oct any way. the lee 45acp 200 gr 2 lube rings swc shoots very accret at 50 yrds. maybe it can keep the same body and change the nost to rn. weight can be 299gr to 230gr. this too would be a good desine i think.

Quite a few of us agree that the Lyman 452374 is the most accurate RN out there. I've shot groundhogs at 225 yds. with it and plates much farther. Its about as good as your going to get as i've shot the others mentioned also. There are too many group buys going on now. People need to recover from them monitarily, so we should wait a little.

I have had pretty darn good luck with the Lee 230gr tumble lube bullet.

It works pretty well. Feeds just fine and I seat it just a hair above the rim of the case. Nice and cheap to shoot... and easy to lube as well!!!
(I don't bother to size them, either.. the tumble lube takes care of most issues anyhow)

Lloyd... with a hundred plus molds, you get dealers price ONLY is you are a dealer. If you can't furnish a FFL license to Lee, you pay the regular price even if you buy 1,000 molds. I checked and that is what they told me.

Does if have to be an FFL or just a state business license?

I have a Washington State Business License and Tax ID for dealing in reloading supplies.

Ask 'em, BluesBear.

But I'll tell ya, gettin' to a hundred ain't that easy. And I wouldn't look forward to honchoing that big a buy either.

reason i dont want a sholder is they hang up loading a 625 with clips and like was said the lyman without the shoulder is about the most accurate 45 round nose bullet out there id just like something lighter for less recoil in competition
