I was sorting and putting my MEC Shotshell powder bushings in a compartmented box today, and it hit me.

These bushings are so cheap and readily available, they would be wonderful for making up a mini hand held powder measure. Maybe adapt and old charge bar In a sliding fixture?

Any ideas. I have seen bags of these at gunshows for maybe $10.00. For that price, you could polish one out or fill it slightly to optimize your charge weight.

Any ideas out there on making this work?

It cerrtainly sounds like a reasonable idea. I like the slide bar part.

Basically, that's what a Lee Auto disc is. Mine works great.

Sounds reasonable to me. Find a fitting for a bottle of powder on top of the charge bar and I think you would be on you'r way!

Hornady(?) used to have a similar powder dispenser if I remeber correctly as well.
Had a small square push-pull bard in which different size brass cylinders were used. Actually cylinder one size, hole in the middle was differents sizes!
Might even have one laying about somewhere.
