I have several thousand 38 caliber, (for 38 pistol) gas checks that I have no use for, so was wondering if I made a die and punch to size them to fit the base of a 32 caliber rifle bullet, would that be satisfactory? That would be for a .321 bullet. How about down to .312 bullet diameter?

If you can do it, they will be to long to fit a gas check shank. Could you trade them or sell them to someone on the forum??

You'd have to make a trim die as well, as the edge of the check will not be uniform-- that's my experience anyway. If you can, it would be better to trade/sell them as Shiloh suggests.

lotta work, I'd just sell them and buy some 8mm GC's.
