I need advice on selling a Kolb Baby Hammerless. The last models were produced in 1930 which places it in the Curio & Relic catagory.

Now for my question. Can this specific handgun be sold to a California FFL holder? If so? Which FFL License is required? There is no listing for it on the California DOJ's website.

Thanks,

Murphy

Murphy,
From my understanding of California gun laws:
The reason it's not on the state's DOJ approved handgun list is because it qualifies as a C&R. California uses the ATF's C&R list.

A dealer (01 licensee) can take possession of the gun.

A C&R handgun cannot be shipped directly to a C&R (03) licensee. That type of transaction still needs to go throuth a dealer. A C&R long gun can be shipped directly to a C&R licensee.

Hope this is 100% correct and helps.
