This is a new mfg stick powder that looks a little like 4350, and kinda sorta has a burn close to it in '06 with 168 BTHP. I shot some at 53.0 and 55.0 and the latter seems to work. Need to run a chrono on it. This powder is/was offered from Accurate thru Powder Valley. Anyone else jump in here.

The onliest data offered on the jug is for .270, 7 mag, ans 300 win mag. sundog

I got a bottle a couple of months ago but haven't cracked the seal yet. Been too busy with other stuff. Accurate lists it as slow and has a lot of data on their page. I am most interested in .30/06, .300 WSM, and .25/06 with 87 grain bullets.

Knock yourself out...

Good job, Beau. I shoulda checked there again, as that's quite a bit more than I've seen before. Anyone use it with cast yet? sundog

Too slow for 308 cast, Corky, at least I think that was the caliber tried. Might try it in the 06 where you can get more of it in there. Use heavy boolits. ... felix

Felix, yeppers. That's where we're goin'. Can you say 311644? I know where the mould is at, AND where there's some already casted! Water quenched, no less. Just so many things to get in the way of shoosting center fire .22s! sundog

Shot a few last evening, 311644, WQ, thru a .311 sizer with FWFL (in nose grooves, too), over 48.0. Vel should be over 2K. They seemed to shoot okay and they did not trash the bore. I need to finish a little scope shimming, and then I will put them on paper at a hunert to see if they will group. sundog

Gee, doesn't anybody else even know about this stuff? Y'all jump in, ya heah?

I just came in, but only shot 3 rounds, it was enough. When I came in from work this afternoon it was another 100d+, and now has 'cooled off' to about 90 sumthang. Rain forecast tomorrow. Steambath forecast for weekend - figgers. Anyway, I fiddled with some brass prep after dinner. Then I went ahead and loaded 3 rounds for the 03 sporter just for grins - 48.0 and a WQ Ly 311644 (nose lubed). At 50 yards and an air conditioned cool bbl on my rickety behind the barn bench with sundown lighting, there were 2 almost touching and the 3rd within an inch.

Definitely more testing with the this load, Felix. sundog
