How many rounds a week/month on average does everyone get a chance to pop off? Just curious as to the volume that everyone does on the board. During the cool spring winter and fall months I can get, if I'm lucky, about 200-300 rounds, usually pistol, a week.
In the Summer I tend to fish and shoot a little, too hot here in the central valley.

200 - 400 45colt / week

~30 Beowulf /week

50 - 100 223 /week

~50 .44 BP revolver.

~30 BP rifle

I don't keep track of the 9mm and .40 stuff I put through my carry guns.
Maybe 500.

Oh and 500 22lr /week.

You know, I shoot entirely too much. No wonder the wife is pissed all the time.

I have two calibers, 9 and 45acp. Now that I have my 9mm dialed in the carbine and CZ see about 400 rounds per range trip, and another 250 or so 45 through the Sig (my friend's favorite).

Couldn't do this if I didn't cast my own.

Generally I shoot the .308 and 30-30 rifles about a 100+ a week.

Like Manny I usually fish in the late spring to early fall then I hunt deer. I have every third Friday off and try to make a range run on those days in the early spring. During those range runs I would shoot 200-250 rounds including centerfire and .22. i do not own any pistols.

.44 & .45 combined lately has been around 400wk. Since I started reloading at the start of this year. Before that I did not have the funds to shoot as much as I would have liked.

I live about a 1/2 mile from our outdoor range. I get up there around 3-4 times a week . I usually rotate weapons on given days but each time I will shoot around 200-300 rds a trip.
Nice to be so close as far as testing loads go. I think my wife thinks I am nuts sometimes....I will bounce back and forth from the range to the man room when I am testing out different loads.
I used to shoot just out behind my house but now the urban sprawl has caught up with us.

When I was learning my pistolcraft, 300-600 .45acp per week.

These days, 50 per month rifle/pistol combined.

I'm fortunate to have a rifle/pistol range on my place, so I guess I average at least a1000 rds a month. My nearest neighbor is about 1/4 mile away, I bet he could tell ya! I'm just glad the Ponderosa pine trees and the terrain help muffle the sound.

Depending on my work schedule, over a one month period I usually run through

100 - 300 rounds of .223
300 - 500 9mm
100 45 ACP
30 45 Colt
60 38 Special or 357 Mag (depending on how I feel)
and around 120 rounds of .308 Win

If I bring friends out to the range, the numbers for the .223 and 9mm can sky rocket.

About 12-15K pistol /rifle rounds per year, mostly .38-.357 and 2500 shotgun rds per year at sporting clays. The two that get the most play are my K-38 and Rossi 92.

Wow, I feel like a real sloth! I try to shoot 3-5 times a week but normally only about 30 rounds per session. Normally only one gun each time -- 45 acp, 45 Colt or 454 Casull, 22-250, 30-30, 7mm-08, 375 H&H or 45-70.

Do the same thing -- my range is 3 miles from my driveway to the gate. Being retired, I find myself there at least 3-4 times a week .. usually not on weekends - leave them days for the guys who have to work!! Usually burn 100-200 rds of 38spec each time I go ... along with whatever else I take with me!!

I usually get to the range once a week and between 9mm and .45 ACP I shoot about 400 rounds combined.

Used to shoot about a thousand rounds a week of 10mm. Maybe 500rds weekly of .45 ACP. Now I haven't shot in about a year and a half.

I gotta go fishing.

Not a clue but since I've got a 75 yard range here at home and I spend at least one or two days a week smelting and casting and shooting while the pot warms up I'd guess around 200 to 300 a week mostly 45/70 and 10mm

Good afternoon
Down here in Peru I am on a ration system. 10 rounds of 44-40 per month. 20 rounds of 38 Special per month. Componets do not grow on trees here in our desert.
Up there in Illonois about 250 per week.

Over the last few years only about 6000-8000 rds per year. Varies a lot. Base is .45ACP around
3-5K/yr IPSC. Then .38, .357, .44 Mag, .30-06, 7.5 Swiss is running about 800-1000/yr these
last few. Not including BUCKETS of .22 LR in pistols and rifles.

9mm about 500-600 a week, .38 special 200-300 a week, .357 about 100 a week! I hve been neglecting my .30-06 and my .30-30 these last 6 month. Before that the count was about 100 a month combined!

All depends on who you talk to!!!! Some of the guys at the range think I have taken up homestead there. Me I don't think I'm there near enough. The winter months up in this frozen waste land are not conducive to shooting semi auto so we stick to the revolvers and long guns. I hate to dig through the snow to pick up brass. But I try to put 100 through the BFR 45-70. In the warmer months I try to get to the range 2 or 3 times a week, usually burning up about 300 to 500 rounds each trip. If it's a weekend trip to the range more like 1000 rounds. I love to pull the trigger, and so do my wife and kids.

Usually, 100-200 rounds of .44 mag and .45 ACP every couple of weeks when I get out to the farm. Add in another 100 rounds of anything from .218 Bee to .45/70. I think I reload for 32 different rounds, at last count.

Been doing more reloading and building than shooting lately. Maybe 100-200 rounds a month. If my daughter and her fiance come to town then it's Katy bar the door. The 1919 will go through 240 rounds of 06 in about 30 sec with the crank fire on it as well as several hundred assorted pistol and rifle rounds. Unfortunately his favorite is the 50 BMG :-(

probably average 200 a day once the snow is gone.

More than some of you, a lot less than others.

I shoot often, 6 or more times a month, but not as much as I have or would like to. Many thousands of centerfire a year. So far 4 bricks of Federal .22 Rimfire. and about 1500 .45 and .38.

The shooting season is young in the Upper Midwest!!

Since I've "retired" from handgun competition, I shoot mostly rifle...and mostly Milsurps, at that...and manage to run through 500-600 rounds a month. (plus, of course, a few .45 ACPs, .44 Spls, or .38 Spls...like maybe 50-100 rounds every time I make it to the range...just to keep my hand in.)

Well, let's see now...........I live in a very remote country setting with a reloading building in my back yard. Inside the building I have an all-weather bench rest and shoot to a 25-, 50-, and 100-yard shooting range. I cast bullets for 38/357, 9MM, 40MM, 45ACP and 30CAL. I reload for .223, 9MM, 40MM, 45ACP, 30-30, 30.06,
7MM MAG, 460 S&W, M1 CARBINE, 38/357MAG, 243 AND 270. I'm retired from law enforcement and all of my time is now spent enjoying my love of bullet casting and reloading. AND WOULD YOU BELIEVE THAT MOST OF YOU SHOOT MORE IN A WEEK THAN I SHOOT IN A YEAR?????
