Gray Wolf you are in great shape if it is still a drive to crazy. For me it is only a short putt.

So are you in the "higher terrain" or the "lower terrain"? Looks like a good tome to stay indoors once you stock up, if you aren't now. Might not melt for a couple of days.

well we had 60+ degrees on thursday of last week. 4 to 6 inches of snow and cold closed roads on Saturday. And this morning it was 24 degrees. You gotta love the teasing nature of spring.

Last Thursday we got 3.7 inches of rain and a bad thunderstorm. Tornadoes in the area. Then wind for the rest of the time, 25 gusting to 60 mph. Today it's out of the north to 35 and cool The week before we had rain and clouds for a week and totaled 3.2 inches that fell slow and easy. Less wind this evening, about 15 mph. Went turkey hunting and saw six gobblers, but couldn't get a shot. We have until May 16 to bag them.

Blame it on the volcano in Iceland.

Yeah, we have the same warning as GW. Yesterday I was in a tee shirt pounding nails. Today it's 19F with the wind and I have a fire going!

Grey Wolf: I feel your pain. Today it was 83 degrees and tomorrown it will be 89 and possibly over 90. Then the winds come and it will drop to the low 60's. Oh, I may have to wear a sweatshirt.

It sucks living here in Vegas. Of course in a couple of months it will be 115 degrees in the shade and it will last until October. The Months of June, July, August and September here are just dredful. But from Ocotber to June we are a happy lot. No snow, Hurricaines, Tornadoes, Hail and only 4 inches of rain a year.

Basically we have about 300 plus range days a year here. The other 65 are the days when the wind is blowing too hard usually.

Storm warnings up from 10am this morning till 4 tomorrow afternoon......

We are in the 1500 ft range. The higher elevations can keep the snow. Rain if it must do something but all that nasty white stuff was gone a few days ago.....it needs to go quietly into the night and be done till next November....

My forcast is roughly the same as yours, just 2500 miles west. Supposed to blow like mad this afternoon as this cold front rolls in. It's spring.

Boy oh boy! Nothing better than hauling round bales in the driving SNOW and COLD. It's even better when you forget to put the cushion on the the COLD WET seat and get to drive around in in wet drawers...
