OK, so here's the deal... I recently inherited my Dad's reloading equipment and since I grew up using the stuff, I have set everything up and am reloading again. Amongst the equipment is a RCBS Lube a Matic. while looking threw the top punches and I have one numbered "423". I have been scouring the internet, and can't find any reference to it.
Anyone have any idea what bullet(s) this is for? I have been threw all the molds that he had and can't find anything that it fits.
Thanks much.

Maybe if you call Rcbs , they could help you out.

Neither Lyman nor RCBS had a top punch 423. I suspect is an NEI, SAECO or some other maker that had their own numbering sytem.

Off the wall thought, but did your Dad have a 452423 mold? I wonder if someone made a top punch and actually numbered it for the bullet????

So I have been looking through my dad's molds and haven't found a #452423. However, I looked at a pic of the 452423 mold and the top punch I have would likely fit it. I remember him having more molds than the ones I have found so far, so I expect I'll eventually find the mold that fits my top punch. Thanks for everyone's input!
