Yeah, he sent me one also. Not only does it say he's banned, but apparently he didn't have very many posts when he signed on, either. Got banned pretty quickly from the looks of it, but still has access because he's sending PM's. You guys can joke about it, but this posting of spam isn't much funny. There may be some security issues here that could prove trouble.

There is no way he is still sending pm's if he is banned. Any pm's you may have in your inbox were sent by the spammer prior to his being banned.

Maybe because he was banned TODAY. Once again, when a user is banned, they no longer have the ability to send PM's to anyone, this user was banned today, any PM's in your inbox were sent BEFORE the spammer was banned. I don't know how else to explain this so it can be easily understood.

Curiosity killed the cat (or my dog might have, but he is blaiming curiosity, too), but why was he banned? Was he sending spam type PMs to other members? I am getting sick of those fools who are sending spam to my e-mail, we have only been on this new plan with the new e-mail address for 6 months and already I am getting my mailbox filled with this rubbish.

"Eternity" was banned at around 8.50am GMT 8/4/2010, as Trey45 says there should be no posts or PMs from this ex-member after that time.

If you Guesser, or anyone else, has received pms from this source post that banning time then will you please send a copy to me or anyother staff member.

Kudos to the admins on this site for guarding and removing this stuff. It's a never ending job. I just removed 32 from one of the sites I work with. Russian and Vietnam based porn and drug junk is the bulk of it. Never ending job. RD

Bret, I used to get quite a bit of spam through my outlook express email. I changed to Mozilla Thunderbird, which looks/works a lot like outlook. Except they have a junkmail feature that you can set up, that will block this kind of stuff at the source. These days, none of that **** comes through, except once in a while when somebody who likes to forward stuff sends you lots of emails. Then spammers attach themselves to those mailing lists--but then you can set the junkmail feature up to permanently block them. Yahoo mail is a spam magnet. I've got a yahoo mail account that I use once in a while, and lots of ads come through as spam in that--but it's not my primary email. check out Thunderbird. Mine works great.

I forward several emails a week. One of the things that I have learned to do is delete ALL of the other email addresses in the forwarded email. Or, I copy and paste the contents into a new email before sending.

This is on the website. Those little capitalist Chinamen stay up all nite registering as new users, sometimes 15-20 from the same IP address, and flood the site. I don;t get much porn, but sneakers and "lace wigs" seem to be very impotant to these people. Got me.
