I see that Ranch Dog is going to be making an order for a .432 350 grain bullet starting in May.

My question is this; What will be the most common use for this bullet?

I really would like to try it in my Grandson's 444 Marlin but we have to compress the powder so much now, using the 300 grain bullet, I can hardly imagine what it would be like with an extra 50 grains of bullet even given the reduction in the powder charge due to increased bullet weight. The limiting factor is, of course, the necessity of being able to feed from the magazine.

Will any of you folks be using this in the 444, or is this more of a SS black powder rifle application?

I have a 350 .430 cast bullet that with the alloy and gas check hits about 360gr.

I have shot it in my 44 pistol quite a bit and the accuracy is there, but the recoil was to much to be safe on the firing line. (IE enough muzzle flip that you can barely see the muzzle when standing directly behind the shooter).

I bought this a LONG time ago, and played with it, but now shoot lighter bullets (around 300gr).

I am thinking of getting a 444 and trying it out in it.

if it's a ranch dog, i'd bet money it's for the 444.
he really works hard on getting those marlins to shoot well.
