Tumble Lube Bullets & Pan Lubing

I looked at past posts but didn't notice anything on pan lubing a tumble lube boolit. I happen to have a 9mm TL mould and thought I might try pan lubing the boolits for loading. Anyone have any thoughts?

Welcome to the family, did you look under "boolit lube" lot of info their. I myself pan lube but with a tumble lube boolit you won't have deep enough lube groves for pan lubing IMHO.

I have been doing it for quite a while. Of course just like in GG boolits some will prefer different lube consistency. The lack of post are probably because nobody considered it enough different from other designs to comment on.

Thanks for the input. I will have to do a little limited experimentation and see if it will be possible without causing detrimental leading to the barrel.
