I found a peanut butter jar full of these bullets at an auction a while back. I like them over 5.4 grains of Unique in a 38 special case. I believe Glen Fryxell mentions them in his article "The 38 SWC".

They work well in all 6 of my 38's! 5.3 grains of Unique, standard primers and Winchester brass

I've had an RCBS 150 SWc for my 38 / 357 loads for more years than I care to count!

It, and a three cavity Saeco which casts an almost indentical boolit, have been my mainstay 357 boolits for just as long and will continue to be my go to boolit for 357 loads until I can no longer pick the mold up!

I much prefer 150 in the 357 over 158. Eight grains just isn't an issue and I get good accuracy and power with WW296.

I can never seem to have enough of these made up. I`ve converted quite a few people to using this bullet from the 158 gr. variety for both practice and "other" purposes loads.Robert

Been shooting that bullet for over 30 years. It's my favorite 357/38 bullet. Very accurate from my guns.

I agree with all of the good things said about the RCBS 38-150 mould. It casts closer to 158 g. and does will in my .38 and .357 revolvers. 5 g. Unique and 12.5 g. 2400 respectively.

Mine casts 358 and is a great boolit. Bought it for $25 on Ebay a few years ago IIRC.

3.5 grains of Bullseye with this bullet is very accurate in all my .38s.

One of THE best .38-.357 designs out there. VERY close to the excellent 358477.

The RCBS was more accurate than the Saeco for me, but i wanted a 4 cavity mould. The weight of the RCBS is better/closer to the 158gr standard. http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n420/joe1944usa/IMG_2935.jpg

Me too, one of my first bullet molds, & it is still turning them out. Cast from ww, they are close to 155gr.

I love my 38-150-SWC. It's the most accurate of my molds for my 357 Mag. I wish that RCBS would make it in a 4 cavity. It would make my life easier.

The RCBS 38-150-SWC (previously named 38-150-KT, KT stands for Keith as in Elmer Keith) is my favorite 38 Special boolit. It is a very good looking boolit, just like a smaller version of the great Lyman 358429. In my guns it is very accurate. The large mold block RCBS uses hold heat very well. Easy to cast, easy to load, no gas check to waste you money. Most of my 38 Special guns have fixed sights. This mold drops boolits at 155 grains with my alloy. This is perfect for fixed sights as the guns are regulated to put this weight boolit right on the point of aim. I have used Lyman 358477, 357446, and 358429. The Lyman boolits are good also but the RCBS 38-150-SWC is the one I like the best.
