I went to 5 or 6 sites today looking for either once fired or new 45 Long Colt Brass.

None to be found.

Any of you have a source right now for 45 Long Colt brass ?

Nope, there was a guy on this board supposed to get me 500 pieces of it a LONG time ago, haven't heard a thing from him since. I'm having a hard time locating any for months now.

You can place any order with Starline and they will ship out when they come available. I think they are back ordered until 4/15, but other then that good luck. They are $90 for 500 cases.

Wish I'd known you were going to need some. Every year at the SASS "Winter Range" shoot here in Phoenix, the Boy Scouts get the franchise of picking up brass and selling it to make money for their troops. I got 500 a couple of years ago for about $30 if I recall. I didn't go this year, but could have picked up some for a pretty low price.

I'll have to go next year and pick up a couple thousand. I may be able to make enough selling them here to pay for gas to go to the shoot. It's about 50 miles from here. You can look at the population here and see that, while we have a substantial population, it's not huge. But the metro area is 2-dimensional. We build out, not up, so we're spread out over almost 2,000 square miles. No, that's not a typo.

Stew

There hasn't been any handgun brass available here in southcentral PA for nearly a year.

I need some more brass in a couple of calibers(.41Mag, .44Spl and .45AutoRim)...guess I'll have to bite the bullet (pun intended) and buy some factory ammo to increase my brass supply.
I have several hundred of each but would like to get to at least a thousand each.
My "master plan" is to get to at least 1K rounds of loaded ammunition in each caliber I shoot and still have at least that many cases in reserve. Pretty much there in 9mm, .357Mag, .38Spl and .45ACP, getting close in .44Mag. I have all the brass I need in .375SuperMag, 7mmMag, .303Brit, 7x57, .30/30, .25/06 and .30/06.

If or when, I add any additional calibers that will just give me more stuff to chase after.
