I've recently purchased a Lee 6 cavity mold in a .45ACP Aluminum mold, however on the second batch casting I went without the so-called Frankford Arsenal drop-out release, I then kept the heat up, kept the mold hot and I seamed to get better cast uniformity sizing with the Lee Sizer produced nice clean cut bases and lube bands well. That Liquid Alox by Lee I might add is a superior product.

....................That's a bunch of boolits and they're ALL yours :-) That Frankford Arsenal drop-out release you can save for lubing paper patched boolits when you drift into that nitch, otherwise ditch it.

I don't know how you're going to store those (and with LA they need to be in a dustproof container) but you could generate a lable for it on the computer. Maybe "DMCasts Signature Series Hand Made Full Race Double A Match Grade Foom Fodder"

*I* like the fact that you used handles with this Lee six-banger mold.

We've seemed to have had a few, ahem, members go with gloves and rags and the sprue-plate handle. . . :-P :redneck:

Good stuff.

Yep - good rigs. I just ordered two more - a 230 45 ACP RN tumble lube and 158 38 SWC tumble lube. I can use them together and really crank out some boolits!
