Enclosed pic of Lee 210TL drilled half way with .189 drill using soft lead (10 ) with 7.5 g Universal at about 1000fps. (may use 25-1 or 20-1 in next test.

Distance 5 yrds .Looking more for a "carry" load.I have been playing with drilling hollow points since i dont have any hollow point molds (and i am cheap) Wife says I have too much time on my hands, but repaired and replaced everything i can in the house this winter season. Of course plenty to do in the spring ouside LOL

Slug pictured is with 25-1 alloy. Still could be a little harder 20-1 Retained weight 145g Original 210 drilled to 190g (half the length of the bullet.

I'm Going to have to try that with my 200 gn. SWC in .41 mag. I just watched the video of how to do it on YouTube last week. Thanks for sharing your results it is very informative.

Yes it is easy i watched the video Ammosmith .com The alloy makes a differance. I use either 25-1 or 20-1
