My first experience

So my first experience at casting was entertaining:D

Used an old BBQ grill to do my wheel weight smelting.
First batch was pure sticky weights.
Flux was crayon.

boy was it a surprise when the chunk of crayon caught fire:holysheep

Used a mini muffin pan as my ingot mold.

Bought the LEE 10lb bottom pour, LEE 50 caliber minie ball mold, and Frankfort arsenal fluxing compound for use in the bottom pour.

Now my problem stands at after I made a couple hundred rounds...I discovered they mic out at .5015

Minies are supposed to be just under bore size, for easy loading in fouling and to expand the skirt to clean the fouling.

I cannot seem to find a sizer that will size around .50 caliber...
I was going to aim for .497 or such.

any ideas?
