If the melt looks like oatmeal.

The only time that I've contaminated a batch is when I let my melt get too hot while adding WW.

If there were only a few you may never know it. Zinc will alloy in to about 2% and will show little indication that it's there. It may need a little more heat and the boolits will be a little more the color of sterling silver. Mostly it will do no harm. If you get a lot in the alloy it will be lumpy and require much more heat. The amount above the 2% will always rise to the top of the melt and if the heat is reduced is easy to skim most of it off through repeated skimmings.
